The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswani Dutt, under Vyjayanthi Movies. The film is produced in Tollywood and is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. The film stars Prabhas in the titular role alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani.
